The Motion 3 - Sport has a SlideLock system which has separate locking and opening functions, this means when you close the lid it auto-locks in place and indicates when the box has been securely closed. 

The box also comes with a Thules well-loved PowerClick quick -mount system, allowing for easy installation and removal without the need for any tools. The PowerClick mountings drop through a sliding rail which allows the box to be positioned perfectly to ensure there is full boot access when the box is fitted, with minimal (if any) contact between boot lip and box. Once positioned correctly simply twist the knob on the top of the PowerClick Mountings until the correct torque is reached, and you hear the 'click'. Once this is done on all 4 mountings you can load your Motion 3 - Sport and are ready to go.
