The Narrow Box In The Ocean Range

The Thule Ocean 600 is the longest, thinnest roof box in this range, offering great value for money as well as internal storage. The great thing about the Ocean 600 being so narrow is it keeps a good amount of your bar free to enable potentially carrying  either a bike carrier or Hull-a-Port style kayak carrier.

To secure the Ocean 600 roof top box is very simple thanks to the EasySnap U-Bolt style mount system, along with multiple mounting holes which allow for the box to be positioned where ever best suits on your roof bars. The mounting hole choices will enable the box to be placed further forwards if required to allow some boot access with the box on the roof.

To fit the Ocean 600 much like all the Thule Ocean range is easy, place the box on the roof in your chosen position, put the U-Bolts under your roof rack bars and up through the box securing holes. Then internally place the mounting plate and wing nuts onto the EasySnap U-Bolts and tighten down. Once this is done on all four corner mountings you are ready to load your luggage.

This Roof Box comes with a lockable single side opening with Central Lock system this give top level safety & security. The Ocean 600 comes as standard with a grip friendly Thule Comfort Key which will only be released if all the roof box locking points are safe, secure & closed.
