The Thule Motion XT Sport Roof box is a slim line box that is ideal for saving space on your roof rack, which can allow for a bike rack to be mounted next to this roof box. Fitting almost every car, this roof box is robust enough for daily use and simple to get along with.
Using Thule's popular AeroSkin surface texture, the box is not only tough but looks stylish and can take loads of all shapes and sizes. The Motion XT is easy to secure once your load is fitted thanks to its LockKnob which makes opening the roof box far easier and more comfortable.
Getting the best position of the Motion XT Sport on your roof has been made simple. The mountings drop through a slide runner which allows the mounts to be positioned forwards or backwards, allowing you to ensure minimal contact (if any) between the boot of your car when accessing and the roof box once mounted.
Securing the Thule Motion XT Sport your roof rack is quick and easy thanks to Thule's easy mounting PowerClick Quick Mount System. These mountings are like a claw that drops through the box runners, once positioned over your roof bars simple spin the top knob until the PowerClick 'Clicks'. This shows the correct amount of torque has been reached, once all 4 mountings are secure you can then load, close and securely lock your Force XT and you are ready to go.
The Thule Motion XT Range is available in a range of sizes, meaning there is a box for almost every load.

Roof Bar Spacing (Dimension D)
The Force XT Sport roof box has multiple roof bar mount positions, check that the spacing between the car's roof bars fall within the minimum and maximum spacing dimensions specified above.
Distance Between Roof Bar Feet (Dimension W)
The distance between the PowerClick roof bar mounting clamps used by the Force XT Sport . Check that your roof rack feet have sufficient space to allow the bar clamps to fit. (W Out is the overall maximum width of the Force XT Sport )
Note - If you have T-Track roof bars, the Force XT Sport clamps can be upgraded to T-Track fittings - this will allow more flexibility in the mounting location on your roof bars. T-Track adapter 6976 is needed for 20mm T-Track slots used by Thule WingBars/SlideBars/ProBars, we also sell adapters for wider T-Tracks used by BMW/Renault/Mercedes)
