A Medium Sized, Dual Side Opening Roof Box
The Thule Force XT M is one of the mid-sizes in the Force XT roof boxes range. Offering 400Ltrs of additional roof mounted storage to most vehicle without being oversized, it is perfect for day to day use. Keeping both style and practicality in mind, Thule have constructed the Force XT - M rooftop box from a tough & durable matte black Aeroskin exterior. Dual side opening gives easy access to your luggage no matter where you have located your bags when packing.
Mounting the Thule Force XT M to your vehicle's roof rack couldn’t be easier, slot the Thule PowerClick clamps into the rooftop boxes in-built slide rail and locate over your bars. These slide rails allow the rooftop box to be located perfectly forward or backwards on your roof rack to increase clearance when opening the boot lid. The PowerClick clamps can then be tightened by rotating the knob on the top of the clamp, so that it closes around your roof bar. They are fitted with a torque limiting system, making a 'click' sound once the correct torque has been reached.
The Thule LockKnob system uses one of Thule's Comfort Keys which operates a central lock allowing opening on which ever side you are at. The comfort key will only release once all locks are correctly situated and locked, protecting both your belongings inside and the key itself.

Will the Force XT M fit my car?
Roof Bar Spacing (Dimension D)
The Force M roof box has multiple roof bar mount positions, check that the spacing between the car's roof bars fall within the minimum and maximum spacing dimensions specified above.
Distance Between Roof Bar Feet (Dimension W)
The distance between the PowerClick roof bar mounting clamps used by the Force XT M. Check that your roof rack feet have sufficient space to allow the bar clamps to fit. (W Out is the overall maximum width of the Force XT M )
Note - If you have T-Track roof bars, the Force XT M clamps can be upgraded to T-Track fittings - this will allow more flexibility in the mounting location on your roof bars. T-Track adapter 6976 is needed for 20mm T-Track slots used by Thule WingBars/SlideBars/ProBars, we also sell adapters for wider T-Tracks used by BMW/Renault/Mercedes)
