The Largest Low Profile Box Perfect For Snowsports
The Thule Motion XXL - Low roof box is the largest low profile cargo box that Thule offer in the Motion 3 range. Ideally suited for carrying snow sports equipment such as skis and snowboards, this low profile box has been designed to look stylish whilst also being functional. This box blends internal space with efficiency thanks to the newly improved class leading aerodynamics that have taken a real focus to minimizing wind resistance, wind noise and ensuring it is as fuel-efficient as possible.
While Thule were ensuring a great external design, they did not forget to pack the Motion 3 XXL - Low with features to ensure that it is as user-friendly as possible. The robust and durable box lid has dual side opening to allow easy access to your luggage from either side and to make it quick to get at your luggage no matter where you pack it. Getting into the box has been made super easy thanks to the Thule SlideLock and wide handle, which not only gives a smooth open and close of the lid, but the SlideLock system has separate opening & locking functions. This auto-locks the roof boxes lid in place and will indicate when the box lid is securely closed.
Getting the Motion 3 XXL - Low on to your roof and secure has also been made to be a hassle-free task thanks to Thule supplying this rooftop box with their easiest fixings, the Thule PowerClick quick mount system. These come equipped with an integrated torque meter that will 'click' once the desired torque is reached, letting you know the box is securely fitted. The PowerClick Quick Mount System fixings are placed through the internal slide track rail, this allows the box to move backwards and forwards on your bars for optimal placement. The idea behind this optimal placement is that when securely fitted you will still be able to gain boot access with minimal, if any, contact between the boot door and Motion 3 XXL -Low roof box. To secure the PowerClicks just place them over your roof bars, then spin the wheel on the top of the fixing until the torque indicator clicks, once this is done on all 4 fixings you are ready to load your box.
The Thule Motion 3 comes in a range of shapes and sizes to ensure there is a roof box for all luggages and vehicle sizes.

Will the Motion 3 XXL Low fit my car?
Roof Bar Spacing (Dimension D)
The Motion 3 XXL Low roof box has multiple roof bar mount positions, check that the spacing between the car's roof bars fall within the minimum and maximum spacing dimensions specified above.
Distance Between Roof Bar Feet (Dimension W)
The distance between the roof bar mounting clamps used by the Motion 3 M. Check that your roof rack feet have sufficient space to allow the bar clamps to fit. (W Out is the overall maximum width of the Motion 3 XXL Low )
Note - If you have T-Track roof bars, the Motion 3 XXL Low bar clamps can be upgraded to T-Track fittings - this will allow more flexibility in the mounting location on your roof bars. T-Track adapter 6976 is needed for 20mm T-Track slots used by Thule WingBars/SlideBars/ProBars, we also sell adapters for wider T-Tracks used by BMW/Renault/Mercedes)
