A Low Profile Aerodynamic Extra Large Roof Box
The Thule Motion 3 - XL Low is a low profile version of the popular Motion 3 - XL rooftop box. Thule, have given the Motion 3 - XL Low a modern design with clean lines and a contemporary feel, meaning it doesn't just store your luggage it also compliments your vehicles style as well. Thanks to class-leading aerodynamics the Thule Motion 3 - XL - Low has been engineered as a roof box with minimal wind resistance, to reduce wind noise and give a fuel efficient journey. The low nature of this box means it is perfect for use with Skis & Snowboards.
Thule have feature packed this roof box with a sturdy lid design along with a wide handle that allows a smooth opening and closing. A SlideLock system with separate locking and opening functions, auto-locks the dual side opening lid in place and will indicate when the roof box lid is closed securely.
Fitting the Motion 3 - XL - Low is quick and simple using the supplied PowerClick Mounting Systems, these fittings drop through a sliding rail which allows for the box to be mounted in the prime position on your roof bars. Being able to move the box to the prime roof bar position before securing in place, allows for full boot access with minimal (if any) risk of contact between boot lid and roof box. Once in the prime place of boot access, simply spin the top of the PowerClick mountings to secure to your bars, once they reach the required torque the integrated torque indicator will 'Click' which signals the fixing is properly mounted. Repeat this for all 4 corners of the box, then you are ready to load your luggage, securely close the box and get on with your journey.
The Thule Motion 3 is available in a range of sizes, so there is one for almost all vehicles and luggage loading needs.

Will the Motion 3 XL Low fit my car?
The Motion 3 XL Low roof box has multiple roof bar mount positions, check that the spacing between the car's roof bars fall within the minimum and maximum spacing dimensions specified above.
Distance Between Roof Bar Feet (Dimension W)
The distance between the roof bar mounting clamps used by the Motion 3 XL Low. Check that your roof rack feet have sufficient space to allow the bar clamps to fit. (W Out is the overall maximum width of the Motion 3 XL Low )
Note - If you have T-Track roof bars, the Motion 3 XL Low bar clamps can be upgraded to T-Track fittings - this will allow more flexibility in the mounting location on your roof bars. T-Track adapter 6976 is needed for 20mm T-Track slots used by Thule WingBars/SlideBars/ProBars, we also sell adapters for wider T-Tracks used by BMW/Renault/Mercedes)
