The Thule Force XT XL is the largest roof box in Thule’s Force XT range, offering a vast amount of additional roof-mounted storage ideal for families and larger cars.

The Thule PowerClick claw style clamps are mounted to an integrated slide track rail on the internal of the box. This allows the box to be mounted forward or backwards on your roof bars, out of the way of the boot lid when open allowing for unrestricted access, with minimal (if any) contact between boot lid and box. Dual side opening means you can easily pack or unpack the Force XT - XL roof box from either side and no matter where you packed your luggage it should always be relatively easy to access.

To secure the box to your roof rack could not be easier, thanks to the PowerClicks. Simply place the box in the appropriate position on your rack, then using the torque knob on the top of this clamp turn clockwise until the fitting 'clicks'. This 'click' indicates that the fitting is at the correct torque and is securely fastened to your bars, do this on all 4 corner fittings, and you are ready to load, lock and go.

Keeping belongings safe and secure over long journeys is essential for any roof box, but Thule do it so well, with all boxes undergoing crash testing. Using their LockKnob system the box locks on both sides and once correctly shut will release the Comfort Key. Inside the box, metal d-rings give secure mounting points through which the included cam straps can be used to help keep your items in place while travelling.
