An Easy Solution For Loading A Tall Vehicles Roofrack

The DropRacks TVE1 (Tall Van Edition) has been specifically designed for use on high roofed vehicles such as large vans and camper vans. This lowering system angles down the side of your vehicle to enable much easy loading and unloading of items such as kayaks, bikes or canoes from your roofrack.

The DropRacks TVE system is incredibly easy to operate, using a lowering crank handle to makes raising and lowering quick and easy, while an in-built clutch system means if you stop cranking at any point the load system will remain safely in place. The lowering crank handle has 2 adjustment lengths, a longer length makes it easier when loaded with heavier items while the shorter length can be used to lift or lower lighter items more quickly. When lowered completely the TVE sits diagonal to the side of the vehicle, DropRacks have specifically designed the TVE1 in this way in order to allow the rack to come much lower than their other systems. The TVE has been given the ability to drop by up to 184cm from the top of the roof to the lowest point when lowered. This makes for easy mounting and unloading and stainless steel click locks keep the bars securely in place on top of the roof during transportation.

A rubber strip in the top of the bars has been perfectly placed for added grip and protection of your gear. Any additional carriers for canoes, kayaks or bikes can be mounted in the T-Track rail to ensure it doesn't interfere with operation of the TVE. Any items in need being strapped to the rack would need to use the DropRacks Triangular eye bolts which also mount into the top T-Track (Dropracks Triangular Eye Bolts sold separately).

Mounting the DropRacks TVE is only compatible with Flush Rails, Raised Rails or Fixing Points. It is possible to use Thule Fixings in order to do this however vehicles with Fixing Points may require longer or shorter connecting bars (sold separately).
