The Thule Portage 819 is a premium quality universal Canadian / Open Canoe carrier for your car roof rack. The 4 adjustable padded supports with ramped sides can be set up to fit most Canoe sizes.
The Portage makes loading easy, the first time your use the Portage load your Canoe with the Gunwalls downwards, adjust each of the fittings into the correct position then fit the tie down straps as illustrated in our image and off you go! You can leave the Portage supports in place ready for the next trip or remove them for storage at home in just a few minutes.
Cushioned weather-resistant base padding protects the canoe during your journey. A pair of Thule Strong Cam Load Straps with soft buckle protectors are included with this product to secure one Canoe and prevent any damage.
